The Buchanan Robotics Team would like to welcome you to our new and improved website!

Buchanan High School is located in Clovis, California and was the first FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) team established in our city and district.  We are located smack dab in the middle of the Central Valley, a place mainly focused on agriculture and not necessarily on technology. The Buchanan Robotics Team’s overall goal is to diversify and excite the Central Valley with science, technology, and engineering.

Due to the success we had last season with our fourth-year robot Doc IV: The Blizzard, we are more driven and motivated to surpass and transcend our already-great accomplishments. Last year, DOC IV reached the semi-final round at the San Diego Regional. Along with this fine achievement, our animation team also took first place at the San Diego Regional with their video: Storm Breaker.

Our team is fueled by the patience, love and support of parents, sponsors, and mentors who sacrifice all their time and money to make our success possible.

As you can tell, the pressure is high to perform well this year, but The Buchanan Robotics Team can definitely handle it! We have high hopes for this season with Doc V, and we've shaped a strong future for some other local area teams as well.

Along with information on our previous years, we have up-to-date information and photos on the progress of this year's robot: DOC V: The Ring of Fire.  Hopefully the Ring of Fire can stand the heat!

Please feel free to navigate around our newly transformed website. Thanks for stopping by!
